ob Overview

This position is responsible for developing software applications for Arcserve product. Provide complex code modification, testing and debugging tasks. Provide high level analysis related to software design and development and solve problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and code, often for the complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget.

- Fix bugs, add enhancements. Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.

- Assist quality assurance team by providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.

- Collaborate with quality assurance in creation of their test plans and participate in reviews.

- Evaluate impact of software performance, and recommend changes to software design team.

- Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

- Participate in design and code reviews with other developers.

职位要求：

Requirement

BS with 3+ years (or equivalent) working experience in commercial software development

Strong skill of C/C++ development on Linux platform

Strong understanding of Linux programming knowledge (e.g. IPC, multithreading, socket, debugging)

Be familiar with one of these scripting languages(Shell, perl, python)

Experience with storage/backup software development is a plus
